Duplicate Stitch for Knitting, 2-hour technique class, December 14th, 9:00-11:00am

Duplicate stitch is a knitting technique that allows you to add motifs to your knitting after your item is complete. As the name implies, a duplicate stitch creates a matching stitch over a knit stitch making it look like the new stitches are part of the original knitting!! When you use a contrasting color, it can look like a fair isle or an intarsia motif.

There will be a small amount of homework. You will need to bring a few swatches to class. More details will be emailed prior to the class.

Materials: Swatches, contrasting yarns in the same weight, and a darning needle and scissors.
