Mosaic Knitting Workshop
Mosaic Knitting Workshop
The term 'Mosaic' was coined by Barbara Walker in the late 1960's. All mosaic patterns use slipped stitches to create the colorwork patterns.
Mosaic is a colorwork technique worked generally from charts. It can be worked flat or in the round. Only one yarn color is used at a time making it fast, easy and fun!
Texture is easily added as well as motifs within a striped pattern. Come join and add one more technique to your knitting toolbox!!
This class is a basic technique class and a nice prep for working the Lunae Shawl by Natasja Hornby. We will be practicing some of this shawl's color charts and kicking off a KAL!
Place: Ewe2Yarn, 113 W. Franklin St in Waxahachie, TX
Date: Saturday March 8th
Time: 9:00-11:30am
There is no homework for this class. I will send out a materials list the week prior to class. You will need to purchase the Lunae pattern if participating in the KAL.
Happy Knitting!
