Doodles Sweater Workshop, June/July 2025
Doodles Sweater Workshop, June/July 2025
Knit this all-weather (Texas) garment!!
This pattern allows for playing with textures using basic techniques - knit, purl, slip stitches, and eyelets. To make this unique texture without being complicated, some sections are worked with one strand of yarn, and other sections are worked with two strands of yarn held together. This produces a fabric where some sections are light, delicate, and see-through, and other sections are textured and a bit thicker. Slip stitches make wavy, horizonal lines without using short rows.
The instructions have an option to make a top without sleeves.
Sherry Smith will guide you through the process step by step with plenty of time to do homework between classes. Come join in the fun!!
We will be working the pattern "Doodles" by Yumiko Alexander.
You must be comfortable knitting and purling and be willing to learn new things!
Recommended yarn is Silk+ by DanDoh or any similar type yarn. We have received our shipment so there is plenty in stock in the shop! The pattern can be purchased on Ravelry prior to the first class.
Please come by the shop if you need any help picking yarn or if you need advise. (Or call). Supply details are noted below as well.
There will be a small amount of homework so make sure you provide a good email to send further instructions.
